Right beside the Santa Monica Pier is the Santa Monica State Beach, a world-class beach that’s got sandy shores and plenty of space to lounge, play, and swim.  

Santa Monica has plenty of activities that are both near and far from the ocean, such as the Annenberg Community Beach House. It’s a historic seaside home that’s got access to the beach, a swimming pool, fitness center, cafe, and rentals for ocean activities. If you move a little farther away from the crystal blue waves, you can dig into your artsy side at one of many art galleries in the area.
